Eagle
fishing rods and other fishing tackle
Eagle
rods are manufactured by Fenwick - well known for their spinning and
casting poles, as well as other top-notch fishing tackle. Spinning
Eagle rods are lightweight, which is helpful for anglers as they are
often held for hours by a fisherman as he casts over and over again.
Casting models are a bit heavier and meant to handle a tougher fight
from bigger fish. Both varieties of fishing rod will run you about $50, give
or take. This is high quality fishing tackle, even though it caters to
novices.
Eagle
rods are built for beginners and tend to make casting fairly easy. The
Fenwick Eagle GT spinning rod is usually under seven feet long and
comes with varying flexibility through the pole to facilitate easier
casting. It's a recommended model for entry-level anglers.
Eagle
rods can usually be purchased in varying weights: ultra light, light,
medium light, medium, and medium heavy. The class of fishing tackle
you buy is dependent upon what kind of angling you do and where. Ultra
light rods, of course, seem ideal when you are casting hundreds of
times over the course of several hours, trying to scare up a stringer
full of panfish. The heavier models are, appropriately, for an
ascending level of both fish weight and fight.
Eagle rods are usually not the best choice of rod
for seasoned veterans of angling. Pros purchase more expensive fishing
tackle, with more exotic materials and reputations. However, Eagle
fishing
products can be great for amateur fishermen or kids just starting out
in the sport. Someone who is just learning to cast does not need an
overpriced rod with a famous name. They won't catch you more fish!
