Daiwa
- exceptional
fishing reels
The
Daiwa company manufactures some of the world’s most popular spinning,
closed-face, fly, surf, shore, and boat fishing reels on the market.
Any way you prefer to cast and retrieve, Daiwa has a product for you
somewhere in its diverse line of fishing reels. One of its most recent
products, the Procaster (released in March of 2004) has earned great
reviews in the angling tackle world.
Daiwa
- some specific fishing reels and their uses
Since
Daiwa unveiled its new Procaster in March, many fishing reels have had
to kowtow to its affordable ergonomics. This product is a professional
quality bait casting reel that is actually a redesign of an old
mechanical formula. It's adept at resisting scratches, offers seven
bearings in its composition, and contains a clutch on its spool that
is easy to deactivate. A truly remarkable innovation!
Other
Daiwa fishing reels include the Harrier 123M, which is lightweight and
professional enough to be used often on the tournament angling
circuit. It's a closed-face reel, which reduces the possible
complications of casting, such as blowing in the wind and tangling
around the spool.
The
Daiwa Millionaire II is one of those fishing reels that is ideal for
surfcasting. It does not have to remain on shore however; it is also
great as a boat reel for light to medium game fish. This reel is ideal
for catching Pollack, fast-moving bass, and dolphinfish.
