Henschel reels - terrific German fishing tackle

Henschel reels have been manufactured since 1993,
when Karl-Heinz Henschel of Germany made his first unique drag system.
The family-owned business began selling its product line in the United
States in 1994. Henschel reels are made in two varieties: the
anti-reverse and the direct drive. They also manufacture fishing
tackle that is actually a hybrid of these two varieties, called the
combination reel.
The
anti-reverse Henschel reels have a drag that only functions as the
line is drawn off the spool. This means that the drag will only kick
in against the fish as you're retrieving the line. You cannot put more
or less pressure on the fish unless you adjust the drag setting or
physically palm the line. This kind of fishing tackle ensures a
smoother catch, without reducing the exhilarating feel of the fight.
Henschel reels and innovations in fishing tackle
Henschel reels have undergone many changes and innovations since their
invention about ten years ago. All of their parts are made from Duraluminum, a material that is as strong as steel but much lighter.
Their surface coatings are resistant to corrosion and wear and have
excellent anti-friction properties. In addition, their fishing tackle
has a great finished appearance.
Henschel reels can also be
purchased in gold. That’s right, gold. The company sells a model that
has a spool and stainless steel parts that are all plated in 24 carat
gold. When is the last time you went fishing with precious metals?
